Steve Lytle – Founder

Steve Lytle founded Lytle EAP Partners, a division of Lytle Behavioral Health in 1980 to provide Employee Assistance Programs, Managed Behavioral Care and integrated management consulting for local and national companies, organizations, and government agencies. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Steve’s years of experience in business operations and executive management contributes to his success in helping clients manage their investment in people, systems, and resources. Steve is active in foster care and child welfare issues on a national and international level. He is an acclaimed national speaker and has been recognized in national publications on the topics of substance abuse in the workplace and organizational development. Lisa Pass – CEO, President

Lisa Pass co-leads the business executive team, translating business vision into smooth and efficient operational initiatives. She provides senior-level guidance for the design and management of high-quality, cost-effective programs. With more than twenty-five years in the Employee Assistance field, Lisa has designed, implemented, and managed EAPs, developed training programs, managed critical incidents, and provided consultative services to organizations, including labor unions, and combined management and union-structured workplaces. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Lisa earned a Master of Social Work degree specializing in Employee Assistance Programs from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Fine Arts degree from Towson University. Beth Gilley – Vice President Business Development

Beth Gilley has more than twenty-five years experience in all aspects of Employee Assistance Program operation, design, and evaluation. She works with municipalities, law firms, hospitals, high-tech corporations, manufacturers, start-up organizations, and Fortune 500 employers, designing programs to meet specific needs. Beth consults with organizations regarding performance management issues, organizational effectiveness, training, and health and wellness issues. Beth earned a master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Catholic University and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland. Beverly Brem – Vice President of Operations

Beverly Brem has over 20 years of extensive experience in consulting with human resource managers and supervisors regarding policy and procedural development, implementation of Employee Assistance Programs, and dealing with employees with performance issues. She develops and conducts training programs on a wide range of topics such as workplace violence, customer service and dealing with difficult people. Ms. Brem has experience in the clinical assessment and counseling of employees with substance abuse, mental health, and family/marital problems. Ms. Brem holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Education Degree in Counseling and Personal Services from the University of Maryland, and a Graduate Certificate in Employee Assistance Programs from Loyola College. Diane Scalzi – Director of Marketing

Diane Scalzi is responsible for image development, direct marketing, brand awareness and promotion of Lytle EAP Partners’ employee assistance and work/life programs. As Director of Marketing, Diane develops, implements and manages both internal and external marketing materials. Diane assists in the direct development of Lytle EAP Partners materials to prospective client companies and the strategic brand planning processes. Diane plays a primary role in the coordination of community events in both Blair and Allegheny counties. These events promote awareness of child abuse, substance abuse, and bullying issues for students, teachers, social workers, community leaders and parents. Donna J. Cruse – Director of Business Development

Donna J. Cruse joined Lytle EAP Partners in 1988 and serves as Director of Business Development.   Donna has worked in the human service field for over 25 years. As an EAP professional, Donna has implemented and managed Employee Assistance Programs in a variety of workplaces, including schools, factory settings, banks, hospitals, and an array of non-profit organizations. She provides supervisory training, employee orientations, Critical Incident Stress Debriefings, and topical workshops.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Nyack College, Nyack, New York. Walter H. Smith, Jr.  – Consultant

Walter H. Smith, Jr. Serves as clinical advisor to the clinical staff of Lytle EAP Partners. Dr. Smith partners with Lytle as organizational consultant to customer organizations regarding change management, leadership skills and conflict resolution. Dr. Smith is a licensed psychologist with a private practice that specializes in treating children, couples, and families. He is the founding member of the Western Pennsylvania Family Center, an education resource center for lay and professional persons interested in family therapy and family studies. Dr. Smith is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Psychology Program at Duquesne University. He has presented lectures and conferences on child abuse and family emotional process throughout the country. Dr. Smith holds a Doctorate of Philosophy and a Masters of Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
